Nursing Staff

The NEC Nursing StaffThe nursing staff are one of the key reasons that patients have a great experience at NEC and why they return for followup care. Most of our staff have over 15 years working in endoscopy nursing, are all trained in ACLS, and enjoy working together as a team to coordinate the best patient care possible. They are nursing professionals who are committed to helping patients through the endoscopy experience in a safe and comfortable manner.

Whether it's answering any questions you may have before the procedure, carefully monitoring your vital signs during your endoscopy, or just providing a warm blanket while you are recovering afterwards, it's just part of the our nursing goal of caring for each patient to the best of our abilities.

Support Staff

Our support staff is a friendly, professional group that will work to help you navigate your way through the endoscopy experience . Each member has a unique role in helping to provide you with the correct information and support so that you can look forward to having your procedure at NEC with confidence.

The NEC Support StaffThe first step, scheduling the procedure, will be handled by a specialist who will work to find a time for you to come in for the procedure that best accomodates your schedule and will then send you the appropriate, detailed instructions. The next step, insurance verification, will be handled by a staff member who is an expert in this area and can explain your insurance coverage and answer any questions that you might have. Then, to help you through the process further prior to the procedure, we have a full-time nurse who will contact you by phone to take your medical history, answer any questions that you may have about the procedure, the bowel prep, or anything else that you may have concerns about. And finally, our billing specialist, using state of the art technology to communicate with your insurance company, can help to answer any questions you may have afterwards.

While each member of the support staff have specialized areas of expertise, they work together as a team and are familiar with all aspects of the endoscopy process. Please call them if you have questions-they would love to talk to you.
